“2015 was a significant year for Amber. We celebrated our 20th anniversary and reflected on what has been achieved so far. ……… we are absolutely committed to ensuring that Amber is properly equipped to offer our unique brand of life-changing residential support for as long as it is needed.

We are a relatively small charity but – with your help – we make a big difference. Thanks to supporters like you, we’ve helped over 2,300 young people since we started in 1995.”

“Thank you for the grant towards the Devon County Youth Brass Bands composing workshop. It was very kind of you to support us. The day was a great success……

The workshop was well attended by nearly forty young musicians and they all enjoyed the experience and said they had not had an opportunity like this before.

Thank you again for giving these young musicians this life affecting opportunity in Devon. We are very grateful.”

In 2012 I was accepted at Bournemouth University to do a degree in mental health nursing. It was at this time I applied to the Trust for funding. The Trust gave me a grant of £200 to help fund my nursing education…..

In November (2015) I graduated from university with first class honours.

I am now a qualified mental health nurse working at…..an acute assessment unity for the elderly.

Thank the Trust again for their support at the beginning of my university life.”

“I am writing regarding the generous donation received from The Elmgrant Trust in 2014 which provided valuable assistance towards our then new Contemporary Art Gallery at Hestercombe. The grant made a significant contribution and, when combined with funding from the Arts Council, helped ensure the initial success of the gallery which is now providing an important contribution to art in the region. I am pleased to report that in 2015, the first full year of opening, the gallery received 25,850 visitors.”
